20th - 26th December 2016

 Hey fam, just a quick email as I'm in Zagreb and don't have a lot of time to email... 

Well this week was fun! We had a lot on! Pday was pretty busy, we went around and did a little shopping ect... which was fun and after that it was just back to normal work I guess! Tuesday was about the same, cold and lots of work! We had english class which was fun as always! Wednesday was also cold and lost of work although we ended up going to Zagreb to be interviewed for an online newspaper! There were about 8 or so of us in a circle kind of thing and they were asking us questions ect... it was scary I mean all in Croatian....I hope I didn't embarrass myself too much! After that we just bused back home and got back a little late so it was just straight to sleep from there. 

Thursday was all the normal! english class ect... Friday we had our branch party which was fun, we had Zoran prepare some amazing food! then we had some speakers ect.. then at the end some magic tricks, it was great! Saturday we had Zoran again make us a ton of food, it tasted amazing! We then had to leave to Zagreb so I could go skype! It was fun to skype you guys, it seems like you are all doing well, I'm excited for Liam and all of you! i hope that you had fun skyping as well. Pretty much Christmas day was us just at President Grants house with a bunch of other missionaries and we played board games and card games which was fun I guess, I'm done with uno now I dont think I could play another game! Today is a public holiday so nothing is really open so I'm not really sure what we will do I guess we will see. I hope you all had a great Christmas, judging by your emails it sounded fun! I hope you all have a great week and a good new years I guess! I'll try and send some photos when I get back to Varazdin I guess we will see. I love you all and hope you are safe! xox

13th December - 19th December 2016

My new companion's name is elder Roberts he is from utah and yeah he is kind of awkward but he is ok.
Hey it doesn't look like it will be snowing on Christmas day. It is like icy fog.

We have a lot of potentials... I guess we will see though, it will probably be hard to meet up with Christmas around ect.. The investigator we were working with is still in a coma but we cant visit him only family can right now​.

This week i went to Zagreb for a conference and we went to the big cathederal. It was fun.

6th December - 12th December 2016

We have had a lot of trouble with our internet services lately so I will give you information about what Elder Winfield has been up to.

He is is good spirits and ready to bring on Christmas. Elder Winfield says that there is only 8 more fast Sunday's until he comes home.
He only had one week with his greeny left in Serbia before he was transferred back to Varazdin.
He said 'I loved seeing him grow really fast. Training is the best. I loved it because you get to do the work right as you know they're watching your every step.'
'We had a potential investigator who was pretty big but he got really sick and just came out of a coma and we have to wait to teach him now.'

29th November - 5th December 2016

Hey everyone! this week was pretty crazy. Lots of weird things happened but that's how I mission is I guess. It was all really normal until Thursday at 4pm where I got a call that I'll be leaving Sremska Mitrovica at 4am on Friday so I was pretty mad at first because I didn't really have a chance to say goodbye to any of the members, they are all so great there! I hope that I will be able to return. 

I'm now here in Varazdin at the moment though, I'm back where i was about 8 weeks ago, not too much has changed apart from the fact that it is a lot lot colder! It is constantly 2 degrees or lower, its crazy! It was cool to see all my friends and members here on Sunday and I'm looking forward to working again here as I love everyone here! :) 

​I also had my birthday and received your package the day before my birthday which I thank you for mum and dad :) love the Richmond socks! and all the old photos are pretty funny, man I was a crazy kid. ​

I also had the privilege to attend a baptism of someone I taught a while in Zadar. It was so awesome to see the change from when I first met him and to his baptism. It was huge and the spirit was really strong, I enjoyed being able to see some success, it was for sure a miracle I don't think a man like that with his attitude could of changed without the power of God :) 

Apart from those two big things happening not much is too different, I'll be back to work and normal life, I'm looking forward to Christmas and skyping home! It has been a while so it will be good to see everyone's faces!

Shoutout to Kai before he heads out I wish him the best of luck! It will be hard but the most rewarding thing you will ever do!

22nd - 28th November 2016

Hey sorry I couldn't email I was with Ross and all that showing them around and we had lunch at a members house! It was great to see them all I was really surprised when they showed up I was like what the heck! haha it was great though. I'm very grateful that they came, it meant a lot to see them! I think they enjoyed it over here in Sremska as well! I hope you guys are doing well, Liam and Faith will be in my prayers! I hope that they are okay.

This week was pretty good, we had 4 lessons lined up with all of them canceling which was annoying, but its okay we will keep working! :)

Tuesday we had the aps and zone leaders stay at our place so that they could take us to the conference the next day which was fun, most of them are going home! Man its strange how the time flies! 

On Wednesday we went to Beograd to a zone conference, we had President Johnson come down which was great, I enjoyed it and learnt a lot from it which I can now take into my work which will be good. 

Most of the rest of the week I really cant remember! haha but on Sunday when I was just kind of standing there doing something! I looked up and saw Ross and his family and I was like nooooooo wayyyyyyy haha it was great to see them, they seem like they are really enjoying going around and experiencing different cultures ect.. What else can I say! We went over and had a lovely dinner prepared by Skyler, it was great asian food, I haven't had that in a while which was lovely, we then showed them a little around Sremska and had lunch which was amazing, I just saw them off as they head on to Beograd! They will enjoy it there.  Apart from that the week was really quite normal, nothing to crazy went on, I'm looking forward to the next week with lots to do, we have a lesson with a big potential so I hope that it goes through well!

I love you all and hope you are doing great, good luck to Liam at the temple! I'm pumped for ya! Thank you for all your support at home, grats to mum with the new calling! have fun waking up :P we will speak next week :)
