22nd - 28th November 2016

Hey sorry I couldn't email I was with Ross and all that showing them around and we had lunch at a members house! It was great to see them all I was really surprised when they showed up I was like what the heck! haha it was great though. I'm very grateful that they came, it meant a lot to see them! I think they enjoyed it over here in Sremska as well! I hope you guys are doing well, Liam and Faith will be in my prayers! I hope that they are okay.

This week was pretty good, we had 4 lessons lined up with all of them canceling which was annoying, but its okay we will keep working! :)

Tuesday we had the aps and zone leaders stay at our place so that they could take us to the conference the next day which was fun, most of them are going home! Man its strange how the time flies! 

On Wednesday we went to Beograd to a zone conference, we had President Johnson come down which was great, I enjoyed it and learnt a lot from it which I can now take into my work which will be good. 

Most of the rest of the week I really cant remember! haha but on Sunday when I was just kind of standing there doing something! I looked up and saw Ross and his family and I was like nooooooo wayyyyyyy haha it was great to see them, they seem like they are really enjoying going around and experiencing different cultures ect.. What else can I say! We went over and had a lovely dinner prepared by Skyler, it was great asian food, I haven't had that in a while which was lovely, we then showed them a little around Sremska and had lunch which was amazing, I just saw them off as they head on to Beograd! They will enjoy it there.  Apart from that the week was really quite normal, nothing to crazy went on, I'm looking forward to the next week with lots to do, we have a lesson with a big potential so I hope that it goes through well!

I love you all and hope you are doing great, good luck to Liam at the temple! I'm pumped for ya! Thank you for all your support at home, grats to mum with the new calling! have fun waking up :P we will speak next week :)

15th - 21st November 2016

I stopped doing a big email because i would do the same things daily really... it was hard to find things to write about.

There isn't much service to do, all the members live in apartment buildings and people here don't want service.

There is one family here who has fed us a couple of times, they are super awesome! 

It's kind of a small little sad town, below this whole town is roman ruins though which is cool, he is doing good! slowly but surely.

We are going bowling with some of the youth here which will be fun! 

It sounds like a lot of sad tears when Kai left.

Give Liam my best for that! hopefully he will get his licence!

It was a good week, lots of hard work, we have a lot of potentials!  I guess we will see this week.. 

yeah.. i hope i stay in Serbia. - i guess we will see! 

I'm not sure whether I will be able to go the the baptism in Zagreb yet we will probably see sometime this week.

8th - 14th November 2016

hey! how is it going, say happy birthday to Rachy for me.

Some good news is a person who I started teaching and taught for 7 months in Zadar is now on baptismal date, I'm super excited about that!His name is Mladen.
All the baptismal dates are posted every week and his is on there! Unfortunately he had to leave and move for about 3 months about a month before I left which stopped things and then he came back and they got in contact and now he is getting baptised which is awesome, I might be able to get permission to go I guess we will see though.

Transfers will be the week before Christmas.

This week was fun though we went to Beograd on Thursday for Return and Reports where all the trainers and trainees gather and we just report on how things are going and the greenies have to teach a 5 minute lesson by themselves, they all are so nervous, I remember I was the same when I was a greeny! This week is thanks giving for americans so I get to have 3 hours off which is fun I guess... not even a holiday I celebrate but ill take it!
The senior couple of great here.

We are finding people to teach, it's just hard to get them on lessons when they bail out! I know it will all be fine though!

Today I have to do some tithing with the Branch President but that's all I am doing for pday.

We have a lesson organised for Tuesday so yeah but I'm not sure how promising it is! I guess we will see.

It should be good skyping, make sure everything works! :P it will be weird skyping when Liam is on his mission, I have no idea how we will do it.

Today I think we are going to go around and get some good food.

I feel bad for missing you guys to much because I'm not meant to I guess right? haha but I do!

25th - 31st October 2016

It's still kind of hard to remember to speak in Serbian -  have to think a little more.

The book stall in Serbia was only on Monday and Tuesday! I saw a couple of members it was cool to see them and they do remember me, it's weird now though because i can understand them!

I got back from Boegrad last Tuesday! I miss the guy (Elder Joshy Llorrena), it will be awesome to chill with him when when I back though, wow he only has 3 months left! crazy!

I'm focused on my mission but you know me i cant be like robot serious 24/7 you can have fun and still work and focus on it.

I got an email from cal and a few other missionaries around the mission and I had to email a few ex missionaries who just went home to see how they are doing!

My new comp is cool we are getting along great! The other missionaries are 2 sisters, they are from utah as well. They are pretty good workers which is good.

Last week's talk was good.

We have ab out 10 who actively come to church each week and we are actually going to eat at a members house tonight which will be cool!

We don't have a proper investigator but we have a decent amount of potentials, I think for sure within 2 weeks there will be some.

18th - 24th October 2016

Hello it was a pretty big week here, first of all on Monday we emailed and chilled out a little, just had a nice relaxing day. Tuesday we went to Zagreb to pick up our greenies! We arrived early in the morning and waited for them to arrive. When they arrived we took them out contacting straight away! They look so tired but they were willing to work which was good, after that we had some lunch and chilled out. The person I took out contacting for the first hour actually ended up being put as my comp his name is elder valentine and he is from sandy utah! He is a good guy we are doiing well, it's hard to think back to when I just came out and all the struggles you had, you kind of forget about them all and think that people just come out here speaking fluently but its not like that! He is doing well he is getting better and better daily.

Tuesday we were at the presidents house and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast from sister Grant, after that president Grant released the transfer board as to where all the greenies were going, after that we had a few more meetings and then we were on our way! It was a long drive but we got there in the end. 

Wednesday was pretty busy just getting food and planning and doing all the administrative stuff, we ate some lovely Serbian food as well. 

On Thursday we had kind of a normal day nothing too special just contacting and etc..  it was good fun though.

Friday we had a special conference with Elder Hallstrom and Elder Johnson where they addressed the whole mission in Zagreb which was great they had a lot of great points which I'll take into my missionary work! We had to leave at about 4 in the morning to get to Zagreb on time for the meeting, the other elders didn't want to drive so I did, I was so tired but its okay we got there!

Saturday was much of the same, we had a district meeting at night which was fun and I also prepped my talk for Sunday as I had a talk along with some other missionaries.

Sunday we had church and I talked as I said it went well, it's hard to change back to Serbian again but I'm getting there slowly but surely! It's hard to teach my greeny Serbian when I dont even speak it half the time, its good though I think another week and I'll pretty much be fully adjusted back to Serbian.

This week there will be a lot on, in about and hour we will head off to Beograd which was my first area for the book fair to help out the other missionaries! Exactly 1 year ago I was in Beograd doing the same thing! but now the tables have turned and I'm not the greeny instead I'm the trainer! Have a good week!

just arrived in Beograd thought I would send a photo before I had to go it's me and my greeny!

11th - 17th October 2016

So this week was pretty good, we were very busy! On Monday I travelled from Varazdin by bus to Zagreb, my friend Zoran helped me with my bags as it was decent walk to there! I arrived in Zagreb in the late morning and it was pretty cold. We decided to play some ultimate frisbee with some of the other missionaries there ended up being about 15 or so of us so it was a lot of fun. I brought the footy out too so I got to kick that for a little to bring back some memories! I'll be very rusty when I get back! After that I left to Sremska! I arrived pretty late at night, we ordered some food and ate some cevapi, it was pretty good but filling!

The next morning we had a lot to do, in fact the whole week we had a lot to do, the missionary I was with was going home that week so he had a lot of people to visit before he left! But yeah pretty much there was a lot of administration stuff to do and etc... we also deep cleaned the house which was well needed, now I'm here with Elder Jex and we are good mates he is in my MTC group so I already know him well. 

So just an update on whats going on, I'm going to Zagreb tomorrow to pick up my brand new fresh meat missionary from Utah, it will be quite fun! It only felt like the other day that I was in theirshoes so I'm looking forward to see what it is like from the other side. I will have a bit of training along with my greeny. On wednesday we will come back here to Sremska and then from there it will just be a normal transfer! Looking forward to the challenge I'm sure it will be good though. Sounds like a lot is going on at home I'm looking forward to seeing my brothers mission call and where he is going! all the best to him!
